0-60 and quarter mile timer for iPhone Floor it. Get numbers.
0-60, quarter mile, 60-0 and 360° G-forces. Your iPhone measures, the motion sensor double-checks, and the time is in before you've rolled to a stop.
Data-logger feel. No data logger.
Acceleration & braking
Stop and the app is ready. Hit the throttle and it measures. Every time is cross-checked by the motion sensor.
G-forces in 360°
The dot roams the whole circle: accelerating, braking, cornering and everything in between. Your peaks sit right on the ring.
Automatic lap times
Drive a few laps and GhostShift finds the start/finish line by itself. Race track, kart track or MX track: best lap, gaps and top speed per lap, highlighted on the map.
MoreDrift & bike
Drift mode scores you on lateral G, live. Bike mode shows your lean angle in degrees.
MoreGarage & trophies
Add your cars and bikes. Every best time belongs to the right vehicle, and the trophy wall shows what your setup can do.
Share in style
Time cards and 10-second reels of your drive for Instagram, TikTok and co., with your own photos and clips. You decide what you share.
MoreStart lights & duel
Five red lights, then go: reaction time and 0-60 from the lights. In a duel, two iPhones launch side by side on the same lights, no internet needed. Closed courses only.
MoreApple Watch
Big speed on your wrist, a G-ball with a comet tail and start lights you can feel: every lamp taps your wrist.
MoreOBD2 live
With an OBD2 adapter the cockpit shows real RPM, boost, temperatures and throttle, live from the ECU.

Numbers don't lie. Your mates do.
Phone GPS on its own likes to jump. That's why GhostShift only counts a time when several sources agree.
-
GPS and sensors fusedSpeed is calculated 20 times a second from GPS and the accelerometer together, up to 50 times in Maximum mode.
-
Impossible times get binnedNo solid GPS fix and no real acceleration means no leaderboard entry.
-
Tested on real roadsMeasurements were checked against the GPS track on real test drives, not just in a lab.
How precise is your iPhone?
Straight talk: what goes into every time, what helps and where the limits are.
How it works
- Speed comes from the GPS Doppler measurement, not from jumping positions.
- GPS and motion sensors are fused 20 times a second, up to 50 in Maximum mode.
- A run only counts with a good GPS fix and when the sensor actually felt the acceleration.
- Optional 1-foot rollout, just like at the drag strip.
What helps
- Open sky: no tunnels, bridges or tall buildings
- Your iPhone firmly mounted, not loose in a cubby
- A level stretch, no slope
- A standing start: stop completely, then go
What it isn’t
GhostShift is not a calibrated or certified instrument. Every value is an estimate from your iPhone’s sensors: great for comparing yourself with yourself and with factory figures, but not official timing.
Every record has a home.
Add your cars and bikes to the garage. Every time lands on the right vehicle, every session comes with a map and a lap list.

Quick answers.
Does my iPhone get warm?
A little: GPS and a bright display work at the same time, in a car often while charging in the sun. That's harmless. The "Relaxed" sample rate keeps it cooler, and if it gets too hot GhostShift pauses all effects by itself and keeps measuring.
