Acceleration & braking
Stop and the app is ready. Hit the throttle and it measures. Every time is cross-checked by the motion sensor.
GhostShift measures what the seat of your pants can only guess: 0-60, quarter mile, drift score, lean angle and laps. Your iPhone's GPS and motion sensors team up, 20 times a second. No 200-buck box, no account, no cloud.
Free to download. Try Pro free for 3 days.Closed courses only.
Track day, drag strip, airfield, gymkhana course: wherever timing is allowed, GhostShift gets everything out of your car or bike. On public roads the app only records, and you drive by the rules.
Stop and the app is ready. Hit the throttle and it measures. Every time is cross-checked by the motion sensor.
The dot roams the whole circle: accelerating, braking, cornering and everything in between. Your peaks sit right on the ring.
Drive a few laps and GhostShift finds the start/finish line by itself. Race track, kart track or MX track: best lap, gaps and top speed per lap, highlighted on the map.
Drift mode scores you on lateral G, live. Bike mode shows your lean angle in degrees.
Add your cars and bikes. Every best time belongs to the right vehicle, and the trophy wall shows what your setup can do.
Time cards and 10-second reels of your drive for Instagram, TikTok and co., with your own photos and clips. You decide what you share.
Five red lights, then go: reaction time and 0-60 from the lights. In a duel, two iPhones launch side by side on the same lights, no internet needed. Closed courses only.
Big speed on your wrist, a G-ball with a comet tail and start lights you can feel: every lamp taps your wrist.
With an OBD2 adapter the cockpit shows real RPM, boost, temperatures and throttle, live from the ECU.
Kart track, pocket-bike course, motocross track or track day: fix your iPhone to whatever you ride and GhostShift finds the start/finish line by itself. Every lap timed, the fastest one marked, gaps and top speed on the map. If it has an engine and sky above, it counts.
Outdoors only: GPS needs open sky. In an indoor kart hall the clock stays at zero.
Plug an OBD2 adapter into the diagnostic port and GhostShift reads along live: RPM, boost, coolant and oil temperature, throttle, load and battery voltage. Over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, straight to your iPhone, logged in every session.
Two iPhones, one set of lights, no internet. Closed courses only.
Five red lights for the perfect launch, a duel against the iPhone next to you and 24 badges for the big moments. And your watch joins in. Closed courses only, obviously.

Every session turns into a time card or a reel with one tap, with your own clips from the day if you like. And whoever claims to be faster gets the lap list shoved under his nose.
One tap turns any session into a 10-second reel or a time card, in your design's look and with your own clips from the day if you like. Off it goes to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or the group chat. Nothing is posted automatically.

Phone GPS on its own likes to jump. That's why GhostShift only counts a time when several sources agree.
Race mode, drift, bike, G-meter, OBD and landscape in every design, each in four colour schemes. You only change the look.

Android version in the works.
Measurements, start lights and duels belong on closed private grounds and race tracks, with the operator's permission. On public roads the traffic laws apply: keep to speed limits, drive carefully and don't get tempted – street racing is illegal and dangerous. Never operate the app while driving and mount your iPhone securely. You drive at your own risk.
No. GhostShift uses your iPhone's GPS and motion sensors. All you need is a solid mount. For engine data you can optionally connect an OBD2 adapter (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi).
Very good for comparing against yourself and against factory figures. GhostShift does not replace a certified timing device. It's most accurate under open sky with good GPS reception; the green GPS badge in the cockpit tells you when conditions are right.
It stays on your iPhone and nowhere else. There's no account and no server. A backup file takes everything to a new iPhone.
A little: GPS and a bright display work at the same time, in a car often while charging in the sun. That's harmless. The "Relaxed" sample rate keeps it cooler, and if it gets too hot GhostShift pauses all effects by itself and keeps measuring.
Common ELM327 adapters with Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi. Plug it in, connect it in GhostShift under Setup › Vehicle & sensors, done. Which values arrive depends on your car's ECU.
Yes, with anything that takes a solid mount: kart, pocket bike, motocross, supermoto, quad or buggy. Two-wheelers get bike mode with lean angle. The one condition is open sky: GPS has no reception in indoor kart halls.
Two iPhones running GhostShift connect directly over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, no internet. One shared set of start lights gives the signal and each iPhone measures its own run. Challenging needs Pro, accepting is free. Closed courses only.
Not yet. At launch GhostShift is on the App Store for iPhone, with a companion app for Apple Watch. We're working on Android.
